Save little, and often

Save little, and often.....

If you are struggling with saving money, try putting away smaller amounts as opposed to big, one-off lump sums.

This may simply be emptying you wallet of coins every day into a glass jar or your version of a money box...

$2 a day, $14 a week = $728 a year!

Better yet, if you automate it, you wont even know its gone..... this could be:

Contacting your Payroll Manager (if you are an employee) and set up your salary/wages to automatically deposit a small amount into a separate savings account - leaving the balance hitting your regular account....you wont even know its gone!

Set up a recurring transfer on payday so as soon as money hits your account, savings go out - again - a small enough amount that you aren't tempted to stop the transfer or feel that real 'fear' of not having enough money in your bank account.

A great story from one of my fabulous clients was the benefit of the 'round up' function on her debit card so that all purchases automatically deposited the 'extra' amount (rounded up) into a separate account - or in her case - the start of her investing journey by having this amount flow into a platform that invests her spare change!

Climbing a mountain begins with one small step.....
